What We Do: Bounce Back, a facet of our Outreach program, started in 2009 at the Calgary Young Offender Centre. Youth are given the opportunity to analyze hip hop and other popular music lyrics and then write their own verses. The idea of using hip hop as a way to get youth to express their struggles has not only been inspiring but has grown in popularity with other community agencies that help youth who have faced adversity.
