Program in Profile: Mayor’s Youth Council

What your responsibilities are: The Mayor’s Youth Council represents the voice of Calgary’s youth. MYC consists of three subcommittees and members have the opportunity to provide a youth perspective on City of Calgary issues, attend community events, research issues relevant to youth, and report their findings to the City of Calgary.
 
Interesting fact: The Mayor’s Youth Council is Youth Central’s longest-running program – it began in 1992.
