What we do: The Mayor’s Youth Council and the Youth Are Awesome steering committee plan Youth Week Calgary, which is based on an international initiative which acknowledges, celebrates and advocates youth empowerment, achievement and involvement throughout the year. We hope to stimulate growth and expansion in programs and services focused on young Calgarians and increase the general understanding of the needs of young people today. Youth Week runs from April 21-28, 2012.
