04 Dec Pay It Forward

Know someone who is doing great things in their community but may not always be recognized?  Youth Central and Kids Up Front have created the Pay It Forward project to recognize youth (12-18) in Calgary who have a pay it forward attitude.  Past recipients have helped out their teachers at lunch, supported their team mates and worked with community organizations and lent an extra hand.  Each month, youth from the Mayor’s Youth Council will select 10 – 12 youth to be recognized and Kids Up Front will plan a monthly one of a kind experience for these youth. So far we’ve had youth attend Free the Children’s We Day, had an on the field experience with the Calgary Stampeders, and each month will be something new and exciting!
