Guest post Youth Are Awesome blogger Wentao Li     Youth Central’s Picnic Playground is going to be on the block soon!   Unwind over at the ContainR site over by the Sunnyside LRT station. The rundown will basically involve an extended picnic; bring your gear and food over to join the fun. We’ll accommodate your school day in as the event starts at 5 p.m.   Two and a half hours of this outdoor hangout means a lot of board game fun, to the point that we’re even considering doing bingo play for real money rounds towards the end of the day. Are you ready for giant Jenga and Tic Tac Toe? Come join outdoor Twister while you’re at it too.   How do you join in this golden equation? Bring your friend and picnic essentials on the day of, and check out the Facebook page. You’ll make friends and sharpen those “gaming skills.” So come chill, okay?   Kudos to my fellow Youth Volunteer Corps (YVC) steering committee members for doing the heavy lifting with planning and Springboard Performance for the space. They shaped this rare opportunity to become reality. Take a part in their efforts, and head on in. 🙂
