Ever heard of a steering committee?
A steering committee is a group of volunteers who meet regularly to come up with ideas, and work together to reach a common goal. Most of the programs at Youth Central are driven by committees of youth volunteers. Applying to join a committee is easy. Just fill out the online application HERE. The application form includes more information on each specific committee if you are wondering about what you’ll be doing or what the commitment looks like. But wait. WHY should you bother?
