10 Mar New Youth Volunteer Fair: Register Now!
Over the past five years, volunteerism in Calgary has dropped by 30%, according to Calgary Foundation’s 2024 Quality of Life Report. Yet, youth are bucking that trend. They still want to contribute, they just need the right opportunities.
For years, Youth Central has helped youth give back through team-based volunteer projects. But what about youth who want to volunteer independently? What about organizations that need individual volunteers?
That’s where the Youth Volunteer Fair comes in.
This April, Youth Central is hosting a free youth volunteer fair to connect youth aged 12 – 18 with organizations offering independent volunteer roles. Whether you’re looking for a flexible way to get involved or just to meet some like-minded youth, this free event is for you!
Join us for free April 12 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Calgary Municipal Building at 800 Macleod Trail SE. It’s wheelchair accessible and easy to get to by bus or train.
