21 May Interim Leadership Update
We’re pleased to welcome Sarah Pervez as Youth Central’s Interim Executive Director while our Board of Directors continues the search for our next permanent ED.
Sarah brings a wealth of experience in nonprofit leadership, having held senior roles at organizations such as United Way and others focused on empowering youth and women. Her deep understanding of youth-serving organizations and her thoughtful, values-driven leadership style make her a great fit for this transitional period.

Sarah had been serving as a member of Youth Central’s Board of Directors and, in keeping with strong governance practices, has stepped away from the board during her time as Interim Executive Director.
As Interim ED, Sarah’s focus will be on ensuring stability, supporting the staff team, and maintaining strong operations while the board continues its executive search. Her presence brings continuity, care, and calm leadership to this important moment in our organization’s journey.
