06 May Leadership Transition Announcement
After 20 incredible years with Youth Central — including the past four years as Executive Director — Lisa Kindree has made the decision to step down from her role to explore new opportunities. Lisa’s final day with Youth Central will be May 8, 2025.
Throughout her time with Youth Central, Lisa has shown tireless dedication to this organization and to connecting young people with their communities. Her commitment has made a lasting impact not only on the youth who have been part of our programs, but also on the broader Calgary community.
While we are sad to see Lisa leave, we are deeply grateful for the heart and energy she has poured into Youth Central over the past two decades.
The Board of Directors has engaged AccessHR as our search partner to help identify Youth Central’s next Executive Director. We are committed to finding a leader who shares our values and our vision for connecting youth to their communities in meaningful ways. We will provide updates as the search progresses.
Day-to-day operations and program delivery remain unchanged. Youth Central’s leadership team, staff, and volunteers continue to be here for the youth, parents, schools, and partners we serve. If you currently work with Youth Central through programs or partnerships, your contacts will remain the same.
