04 Jun Spring 2024 Macrogrant Recipients Announced
We’re thrilled to announce the recipients of our latest round of macrogrants! These inspiring projects, led by young people in our community, will have a profound impact on the lives of their peers and beyond.
The Iris Project: This youth-led initiative will provide customized birthday baskets to girls and women in need at local shelters, promoting self-worth and community. The iris flower, a symbol of hope and renewal, will serve as a powerful reminder of their value.
Project Tech Careers: This organization inspires high school students to pursue careers in tech by connecting them with industry experts and providing growth opportunities. With our support, they’ll host Calgary’s first large-scale AI and Technology conference for students.
TedX@Western Canada High School: This youth-focused TedX event will celebrate diversity and inclusivity, giving students a platform to express themselves and learn from peers from diverse backgrounds. The event will foster empathy, understanding, and leadership skills.
We can’t wait to see the positive change these projects will create. Congratulations to the grant recipients!
