Youth Are Awesome
Youth Are Awesome (YAA) is a blog written entirely by youth for youth (youthareawesome.com). YAA promotes the youth voice and perspective in to connect and inspire the next generation of Calgarians. YAA bloggers will have the opportunity to write creatively in every genre, edit, publish their photography, attend meetings and learn from guest speakers and workshops. HOW IT WORKS
Youth Are Awesome is a committee of 15+ bloggers and jr. editors between the ages of 12-18. Every month, bloggers are responsible for contributing at least two blog posts per month. They are also responsible for attending monthly meetings where they will have the opportunity to interact with other bloggers, participate in workshops, listen to guest speakers and plan fundraising events. Youth Are Awesome accepts new bloggers all year around
