Mayor’s Youth Council Youth Volunteer Fair

Over 150 youth discovered and furthered their passion for giving back to the community on May 2, 2014.

The Mayor’s Youth Council held their third annual Youth Volunteer Fair at Calgary City Hall. It was an opportunity for youth to seek out volunteer projects with long-term commitments, allowing them to find a niche in the community.

Virgin Radio was also there to promote the event and spread the message of youth philanthropy in Calgary.

Organizations in attendance included:

  • Federation of Calgary Communities
  • WinSport
  • Salvation Army Community Services Calgary
  • Calgary Public Library
  • Distress Centre
  • Empowering Minds
  • Between Friends Club
