17 Jun Summer Volunteering 2014

With about 150 projects with 20 local agencies, our Youth Volunteer Corps is gearing up for a busy summer! This year, we have five enthusiastic Summer Team Leaders (all of whom are volunteer alumni) who be out on-site leading every project.
 
We will be working with four summer camps to bring you week-long opportunities to volunteer with kids, like the Between Friends Camp Bonaventure for children with disabilities, and Camp Fur, Fins and Feathers at the Calgary Humane Society.
 
Do you enjoy festivals? We’ll have volunteer projects at the Sun & Salsa Festival, GlobalFest, and Fiestaval, among several other popular Calgary events. We will also be involved with many Stampede breakfasts in various locations in the city. As always, we also have opportunities with various senior’s homes and homeless shelters.
