24 Jul Help send our YVC Summit Committee to South Carolina!
In June, Youth Central’s Youth Volunteer Corps (YVC) selected four exception youth volunteers to represent the Calgary chapter of YVC at the YVC Summit in Charleston, South Carolina this November!
YVC is a network of over 40 affiliated organizations across the U.S. and Canada, whose purpose is to connect youth with meaningful volunteer opportunities. Youth Central is proud to run YVC’s largest affiliate program, working with approximately 100 community partners to engage 550 youth volunteers in 700 volunteer opportunities each year, totaling around 25,000 volunteer hours.
The YVC Summit is a two-day conference for youth volunteers all over North America to network, share volunteer initiatives, and participate in a variety of workshops! They need your help to get there!
